Naranja House is a Mexican vacation home, comfortable for families or groups of up to 8 people. Location
Naranja House is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town, within a relatively short distance (+/- 10' drive) of several supermarkets, gas stations and ATMs. Conveniently located, you can easily reach the beach, downtown with its traditional markets (Mercado 28, Mercado 23) and international and local shopping centers (Plaza Americas, Plaza Malecon Cancun, Plaza Outlet, Plaza la Isla, Plaza Kukulkan, among others). You can easily get to the airport, the Riviera Maya (Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum, Xel-Ha, among others) and the maritime station in the district of Puerto Juarez (to book water excursions, diving, snorkeling, fishing). You can also take a boat trip to Isla Mujeres (for swimming with dolphins or whale sharks, etc.) or take the fast boat to Isla Mujeres. With more time, you can explore the Ruta Puuc, a route through several Mayan towns and archaeological villages. With more time, you can stay a few days in cities like Valladolid, Merida and Campeche or travel to neighboring Belize and Guatemala.
Transportation
Public transportation in Cancun is relatively cheap. Within a 5 minute walk from Casa Naranja you can take a cab, bus or combi (van) on Avenida Lopez Portillo. It is also possible to order a cab at your door using the Didi app. The bus station is located in the center of town, from here you can travel to the Riviera Maya or inland. The train station of the Tren Maya is located next to the airport. The train travels to the Guatemalan border and stops at several Mayan cities and attractions, such as Chichén-Itzá, Izamal, Campeche and Palenque. For more freedom and comfort, it is advisable to rent a car. There are several car rental companies at the airport and in the city center.
